Well it wasn’t quite as wet as forecast and the wind was a bit weird, gusty in places but almost calm in others. Eight skippers braved the elements and A rigs were the order of the day. After about four races one skipper thought that it might be better to go down to a B rig; it wasn’t. Tim L not so dominant this time, only won 5 out of the 9 races, the other four being won by four different skippers. Yours truly actually achieved a second place in one race and was in front on the following race only to get caught on the submerged rope on a marker thus losing about four places.
