Wow, what a great turnout – 16 skippers. Fine sailing weather too; blue sky, sunshine and a reasonable wind. Unfortunately the wind was a northerly, blowing in from the sea over the sand hills so we had to set a start line that was directly in line with the sun’s reflection on the water. Needless to say there were quite a few collisions but everyone was on good behaviour and penalty turns were done without fuss. About half way through the wind turned to an easterly allowing a better course to be set. In all we managed to squeeze eight races into our two hours which allowed everyone to discard their two worst results (and everyone had them including Derek!) The results are below.
See you all again next week?
