DF65 Meeting Saturday 22nd October

Ten skippers turned up today, including one guest, perhaps expecting a nice wind of about 10mph and bright sunny intervals. Well, not much sun and the wind to start with was very light but at least it was an easterly, straight down the lake so we could set a course with a beat to a windward mark and a good beat to a finish. On two occasions the wind shifted slightly northwards so we did the same course but in an anti-clockwise  direction for two races. It also increased almost to the point where a change down to B rigs might have been better but not worth the effort for one final race. We managed eight races in our two hour slot and the results are below. Owing to an incorrect sail number on race 8 and I making the wrong assumption (886 should have been 688 not 883) a corrected result sheet is below!
