It seems that our lake is succumbing to the universal infestation of jellyfish but despite their presence the cream (excuse the pun) as the results reflect, still rises to the top!
After an unseasonal rainy day we were blessed with sunshine and an A rig NNW blustery breeze. Derek set a three point course with an unbiased start which proved critical for the initial beating marker and (give or take the occasional helping of jelly) the subsequent finishing position.
A reminder that this Saturday (the 12th) at 2.30pm is event five of the Saturday Series and I look forward to seeing you on the water.

Yours truly is now incapacitated with a fractured ankle and is totally reliable on Peter Jackson for supplying me with the scores and a brief summary.
It seems eight skippers had to contend with a NNW wind that went from B rigs to C rigs and back to B again plus the jellyfish.
Our present leader Paul Reid burnt out his winch after the first race but he is still out in front.
