3rd March 2018
Well the Beast from the East abated and left us with a sunny at times, A-Rig breeze, a little cold on the fingers, but dry, and quite a pleasant day, definitely one of the better ones we have had in this series, so for those who didn’t turn out you missed a great days sailing.
A one and a half lap triangular course was set for the eight skippers, and made good time, getting in five unhurried races before a break for lunch, and another seven in the next session before calling it a day.
Garry took the honours this time out with four bullets and three seconds, with Flying Tony in second.
Thanks once again to Peter J for doing the scoring duties.
So that brings to the end our Autumn/Winter series combined, and I can report no days were lost due to bad weather, although we sure had some atrocious days, so credit must go to all skippers who turned out in those conditions.
The final league table shows Tim well ahead of the competing field, with John second and Garry third,
Congratulations to all.
