Well, glorious sunshine’s greeted a large fleet of skippers. Cracking turn out again.
The first 6 races were sailed in what can only be described as holey wind and very little of it.
Olly best navigated the morning session getting some lovely veranda lifts whilst others floundered in swirls.
After lunch Derek found his rhythm as the wind tried to straighten….. the course was extended down to the windward gate but wasn’t quite straight right with some dead patched around.
Every time the wind started to pick up and straighten someone mentioned Champagne Sailing and the wind died 🤣🤣🤣.
Mark Derek and Olly had some great sailing at the front of the fleet. One minor moan between competitors quickly resolved making for a great day.
Olly overall pipping Derek after Mark left with a few races to go as the Codarmy kicked off at 3!
Notable performance from Peter Whiteside, finishing 6th with some great finishes.
