The club is affiliated to the Model Yacht Association and organises events based on the MYA Racing Rules.

The following classes are currently sailed at Fleetwood: Dragonforce 65, Dragonflite 95, RC Laser, International One Metre (IOM) Class, RA Class radio controlled “A” Class (mainly open events) Vane “A” class, Vane Marblehead (“M”) Class and 36r .

In addition we hold open events for: RC Marblehead, A-Class, International One Meter, RC Laser and DF65 & 95 boats. Members also represent the club in the above classes at Open Races at other clubs plus National and International events. You’ve probably heard of a few of them!
