It was a very windy day, but the direction was from the west, so giving classic Fleetwood sailing conditions. The yachts were in 3rd or 4th suits and due to the strong wind and low water level in the lake it was decided to sail beats only. There were 5 boats entered and help for the mates’ bank was kindly given by Bob Jolly, Derek Priestley and the bye boat skipper. Two rounds were sailed.

John Sharman and Olly Murray ended with equal points, so 2 beats were sailed and Olly won both.
