There were 5 entries. The easterly wind was fairly light initially so all yachts started in top suit. After the second heat the wind had strengthened so some skippers changed down to second suit. One full round was sailed. Not all skippers had mates so everyone helped one another. John Sharman was the winner as he had managed a full 100% score card.

Tonight’s sailing was a delight. A lovely sunset, with the wind straight down the lake. A great turnout to boot as well leading to some competitive sailing
Olly popping Paul M in the DF95s in close racing
Paul M taking the victory in the DF65s ahead of the dream team of Bob Jolly and Mark (joint skippers) sharing the racing.
Smithy peaked a little early in the DF65s
One new member joined the club and one DF65 sank in record time

A great nights sailing. The wind started off a bit naff in the first race, Terry storming off the start line at the top end and nobody could get near him.
The rest of the races were by either Mark (3 wins) or Rob (6 wins) who were having a tussle at the front of the fleet. Rob ultimately coming out on top (as usual)
The chasing pack was full of improving quality with Garry et al, mixing it at the front in what turned out 10 races – down the length of the lakes and a great nights sailing despite the early drizzle
